Murrayshall county house hotel has announced the appointment of Gary Silcock as its new general manager.
The hotel currently has 40 luxurious rooms & suites, an restaurant, and 27-holes of championship golf has long been popular with local and international guests.
Silcock has previously held leadership roles at La Manga Club, The Belfry, and Gleneagles where he was the director of Golf.

Commenting on behalf of Murrayshall, “Jonathan Gain, chief executive of Stellar Asset Management said: “With over 200 applicants for the role, many of which had a lot to offer, Gary was a leading candidate from the outset.
“His experience working at some of the finest golf destinations in the UK and Europe, plus strong operational knowledge, strategic vision and leadership qualities will be a huge asset to us.”
He added: ”We have seen the benefits of the extensive renovation programme we implemented two years ago, investing in excess of £2 million into the estate and now we want to take that to the next level; something I am extremely confident we can achieve under the leadership of Gary.”
